As a Housekeeping Area Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing housekeeping operations across multiple facilities or locations.
You will ensure the delivery of high cleaning standards, hygiene, and customer satisfaction while maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations. Your role will include supervising teams, coordinating with vendors, optimizing resources, and implementing quality control measures to enhance housekeeping efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Oversee housekeeping operations across multiple sites, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Manage and train housekeeping teams, ensuring efficiency and adherence to best practices.
- Conduct routine inspections and quality audits, ensuring compliance with service-level agreements (SLAs).
- Ensure health, safety, and environmental compliance, following industry and regulatory guidelines.
- Monitor housekeeping budgets, resources, and vendor performance to optimize service delivery.
Must Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Facility Management, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in housekeeping management within a facility management or hospitality environment.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and hygiene regulations.
- Experience in staff training, performance management, and operational coordination.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of facility management software for housekeeping operations.
- Strong customer service and complaint resolution skills.
- Prior experience in managing housekeeping services for commercial, healthcare, or hospitality facilities.
