As a Cost Controller, you will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and controlling costs across facility management operations to ensure financial efficiency and budget compliance.
You will track operational expenses, review budgets, analyze variances, and support management with accurate cost reports and recommendations to improve profitability and cost efficiency across multiple sites.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and control operational costs for FM contracts, projects, and sites.
- Follow budgets, cost plans, and forecasts in coordination with finance, operations, and commercial teams.
- Analyze cost variances, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
- Review purchase requests, contracts, and invoices to ensure cost compliance and budget availability.
- Prepare periodic cost control reports, including cost-to-complete, savings, and risk exposure.
Must Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- 2–3 years of experience in cost control, budgeting, or financial analysis (preferably in facility management or contracting).
- Strong knowledge of cost structures, budgets, and financial controls.
- Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
Nice to have
- Experience in FM, construction, or multi-site operations.
- Knowledge of contract costing and pricing models.
- Experience driving cost optimization and efficiency initiatives.
- Strong analytical skills.
