Chinese Speaker Cashier

As a Chinese-Speaking Cashier, you will be responsible for handling customer transactions, processing payments, and providing excellent customer service to both Chinese-speaking and non-Chinese-speaking customers. You will ensure accurate cash handling, maintain records, and assist customers with inquiries. Your role will require attention to detail, efficiency in managing transactions, and the ability to communicate fluently in Chinese and English to enhance the customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Process transactions efficiently, including cash, credit, and digital payments.
  • Provide assistance to Chinese-speaking customers, ensuring smooth communication and service.
  • Ensure accurate record-keeping and reporting of daily sales and transactions.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier station.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve transaction-related issues professionally.

Must Have

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • 1-3 years of experience in cashiering, retail, or customer service.
  • Fluent in Chinese and English (spoken and written).
  • Strong numerical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience using POS systems and billing software.

Nice to have

  • Strong interpersonal skills to handle multicultural customer interactions.
  • Ability to handle high-volume transactions efficiently.
  • Experience working in facility management, retail, or hospitality sectors.
